Can you negotiate engagement bands and diamonds?
I am in the market to buy an engagement ring and was curious as to how negotiable buying a ring is. Anyone know?
You can try but keep in mind they are in business to make a profit not give away their products. You can likely get quotes from jewelers and shop around that way.
Also, how willing would you be to negotiate your wage if your boss walked up to you and wanted to lower it?
Anyway, check out your options, you can usually get better prices buying online, and the best pricing is usually at locally owned jewelers they will be the type to earn your business and want you to come back rather than national chains like Kay, Jared or Tiffany's where you are basically just paying for their name.
